This is the source document behind the request made by Dan Schulte and Jan Pemberton for the state to investigate possible violation of campaign finance laws. The bill is annotated with my comments in the red boxes.

In addition to the issue of the questionable campaign activity, look at the legal bill for February 2009 and see how more of your tax dollars were spent to keep employee salary and pension information from becoming public before the February election by efforts to fight the FOIA request.

Also note there were more tax dollars expended on persistent efforts to try to extend the harbor footprint into the lake.
Look at all of this and it is no wonder Shores legal expenses were in the range of $170,000 last year. A lot more than the state pays our full time Attorney General, Mike Cox!
